Lovelys, the ball is about to drop in NYC and the New Year of 2014 is approaching. Get out those party hats, confetti, drinks, and snacks! With the New Year comes new resolutions and of course fashion statements. For the Twinzies its all about reinventing! Part of the reinvention for the new year meant travelling back to our roots. That’s where it all began so that’s where we decided to start. Returning to good ol’ Nebraska and finding our favorite boutique (Wynk) all played a part.

For starters the holidays brought us some pretty gifties and new fashions. For Courtney it was all about continuing her shatters of color, layering, and a cute shark hat as a fun accessory. Court found her new loves for the year beginning with a Reindeer sweater by free people, vintage tutu, peacock necklace, and baby doll dress from blackmilk inspired by a Christmas tree. Other loves Courtney wants to ring in the New Year include scarves, fuzzy jackets, tall riding boots, leggings, bow bracelets, and tribal inspired nails.

Chelsey has stood true to her iconic look with rips, tears, and rocker chic attached. That love of black and white has yet to cease, but Chels has been inspired by the New Year and combined cut outs, tears, and over-sized cardigans to rock the New Year with. However, taking those classic items still comes into play, but in new fun ways with rocking an extravagant dress with a flannel, Old Gringo boots, and her classic piece a simple bandanna.
